Boston Bartending School Of America

Boston Bartending School of America is the oldest bartending school in New England. They’ve been teaching the arts of tending bar and mixology for 33 years. They’ve had plenty of time to get it right! And with 10 locations throughout New England, they’re also the largest school of bartending as well as the oldest.

They’ve learned the first thing you need when teaching is having the students. That’s the reason their course schedules are set up to work around the student’s schedule. If you can’t make it to what they have scheduled, they’ll change the schedule around until you can. If something comes up and you miss a class, no problem, you can make it up when it’s convenient for you.

They accept several payment methods to make tuition payment as easy as possible. Or, if you prefer, they offer a discount for full payment in advance. They’ve tried to make learning as easy and fun as possible.

Their classes teach you everything you need to know to start you on your bartending career. Of course they teach you what goes into the most common drinks, include the uncommon ones and throw in the new trendy drinks as well. They also teach you the most efficient way to make to make those drinks, what glass to server them in, and how much to charge for them. You’ll also learn how to use the tools and equipment found in today’s bars. Training also includes knowledge and serving of beer and wine.

Every good, high earning bartender needs to have “people skills”. They need to know how to ensure they give the best service and receive the best tips. You also need to have an awareness of the affect alcohol can have on your customers. You have to know who has had enough to drink and how to tell them so.

They also have bar management training. That includes training in product ordering, inventory control and profit margins. Food service is even included. You can earn your National Alcohol Awareness Certification and take a course in CPR.
